DOMESTIC INCIDENT – CAMREN CHARLES AUCOIN

PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Camren Charles Aucoin, 29, of 6017 Highway 1, Paincourtville, LA on felony charges arising out of a domestic disturbance Friday night.

Deputies were dispatched to a location Friday night after a female reported that she had been injured during a domestic disturbance at the aforementioned address.

Deputies responded to the address and made contact with the complainant. Then and there
deputies did observe obvious signs of injury to the complainant and the violator was identified as Camren Charles Aucoin. The suspect had already departed, but was located by deputies near Plattenville.

When making contact with the suspect, deputies did observe conditions consistent with a crime of violence.

After completing the investigation, Camren Charles Aucoin was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery Involving Strangulation with Child Endangerment

A young child was present at the time this incident occurred.

Camren Charles Aucoin was released on a $25,000 bond.
