DOMESTIC INCIDENT – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
LAWRENCE FORRISTAL, JR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lawrence Forristal, Jr., 60, of 148 Honey Lane, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident at the aforementioned address on Monday evening.

Deputies were dispatched to the location in connection with an ongoing altercation and a reported fire. Deputies arrived on scene and made contact with the victim as well as the suspect now identified as Lawrence Forristal, Jr.

Deputies were able to determine that Lawrence Forristal, Jr., and the victim engaged in a confrontation and at some point, Lawrence Forristal, Jr. allegedly threw a beer bottle striking the victim. Forristal then allegedly lit the camper trailer the pair owned on fire. The fire was quickly contained.

At the conclusion of the investigation, Lawrence Forristal, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse – Aggravated Assault

Lawrence Forristal, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
