DOMESTIC INCIDENT – FELONY – TREY ALLEN DUET

BELLE RIVER – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Trey Allen Duet, 26, of 109 Teddy St., Belle River, La., on felony charges arising from a domestic incident at the aforementioned address on Monday afternoon.

Deputies were dispatched to the location and made contact with the victim who indicated that she was presently in a domestic relationship with an individual now identified as Trey Allen Duet. The victim indicated to the deputies that over the past three days she was physically and mentally abused by Trey Allen Duet. The victim further reported that on Monday afternoon, Trey Allen Duet threw a chair at her. At some point, the victim attempted to leave the residence, but Trey Allen Duet physically stopped her from leaving.

Investigating deputies observed injuries to the victim allegedly caused by Trey Allen Duet. Deputies further recovered other corroborating evidence in support of the victim’s statements. The victim was transported to a healthcare facility for treatment.

At this time of the reported violence, there were minor children present.

Trey Allen Duet was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*False Imprisonment

*Probation/Parole Detainer

Trey Allen Duet remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the domestic charges and was ordered held without bond on the Probation/Parole Detainer.
