DOMESTIC INCIDENT – SHANE JEROME LEE

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Shane Jerome Lee, 32, of 6665 Highway 308, Donaldsonville, LA, on felony domestic charges arising from an incident at a residence off of LA 308 near Belle Rose on Monday evening.

Deputies responded to the area and made contact with all parties involved.

Deputies conducted an investigation into a reported domestic matter and at the close of the investigation, deputies concluded that Shane Jerome Lee was involved in a disturbance. At some point during the incident, Shane Jerome Lee allegedly struck the victim in the face. There was a juvenile present and involved in the confrontation.

Shane Jerome Lee was arrested and transported to a local healthcare facility for evaluation. Upon release, Lee was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*Resisting an Officer

Shane Jerome Lee was also issued a summons for Disturbing the Peace.

Shane Jerome Lee remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
