DOMESTIC MATTER – JACOBY MARQUEST BUTLER, SR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the Thursday arrest of Jacoby Marquest Butler, Sr., 36, of 115 Jones Street, Bertrandville, La., on felony charges related to an incident which occurred on November 18, 2020.
On the following date, deputies answered a complaint from a dating acquaintance of Butler who indicated that on November 18, 2020, the suspect physically attacked her causing noticeable injury while her minor child was present. Jacoby Marquest Butler, Sr. is also accused of destroying the victim’s phone which was valued at $1,000.
Deputies filed arrest warrants for Butler, but he had already fled the area.
Jacoby Marquest Butler, Sr. was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Facility on charges of:
*Battery of a Dating Partner with Child Endangerment
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property Valued at $1,000
Jacoby Marquest Butler, Sr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
