DOMESTIC MATTER – REGINALD C. WASHINGTON, JR.
PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Reginald C. Washington, Jr., 29, of 606 MLK Avenue, Napoleonville, LA, on felony charges arising from a July 30, 2021 domestic incident at a location near Paincourtville.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to a location and made contact with the complainant party. She advised she was seated in her vehicle at the home of her former domestic partner, now identified as Reginald C. Washington, Jr. and the two were engaged in an argument when the suspect physically attacked her. The suspect then left.
During the interview process, deputies noted injuries consistent with domestic abuse on the victim.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies applied for and were granted an arrest warrant for Reginald C. Washington, Jr.
On Tuesday, Reginald C. Washington, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
*Warrant – Failure to Appear – Simple Battery
*Warrant – Failure to Appear – Traffic Violations
Reginald C. Washington, Jr. remains incarcerated with bond set at $25,000 surety and $1,023 cash.
