DOMESTIC MATTER – JAMES E. MARSHALL, III
BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of James E. Marshall, III, 42, of 147 Jones Street, Bertrandville, LA, on felony charges arising from a domestic incident late Thursday night in Bertrandville.
Deputies were dispatched to a Jones Street residence in reference to a disturbance. Deputies made contact with the complainant who reported that her husband James E. Marshall, III, had physically assaulted her and had a fired a gun both inside and outside of the family home and was still there armed.
Deputies set up a perimeter and were able to take the suspect into custody.
Deputies investigated the matter and were able to determine that the incident occurred over a personal issue and at some point, the suspect became violent. At the time, there were two minor children present. Deputies recovered two handguns from the residence.
James E. Marshall, III was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Illegal Use of Firearms or Dangerous Instruments
*Domestic Abuse Battery with Child Endangerment
James E. Marshal, III, remains incarcerated with bond set at $100,000.
