DOMESTIC MATTER – FELONY – BERVICK THOMAS PHILLIPS, III

LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bervick Thomas Phillips, III, 28, of 13013 Forestal Street, Vacherie, LA, on felony charges related to a June 28, 2021 incident that occurred in Labadieville, LA.

On the aforementioned date, deputies responded to the location and made contact with the complainant. The victim advised that an altercation had occurred and Bervick Thomas Phillips, III had initiated the incident. At some point the altercation turned physical.

Based on all information obtained during the response as well as some physical evidence, deputies applied for and were granted arrest warrants for Phillips.

On Wednesday morning, Bervick Thomas Phillips, III was arrested in Labadieville and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of

*Aggravated Battery
*Domestic Abuse Battery Involving Strangulation
*Detainer Probation and Parole

Bervick Thomas Phillips, III remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
