DEMETRES MILLER

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Demetres Miller, 46, of 3376 Back Marais Lane, Napoleonville, LA, on charges related to a domestic disturbance on Saturday evening in Pierre Part.

Deputies were dispatched to a Tut Street address in reference to a disturbance, domestic in nature. Upon arrival, deputies located a victim as well as a suspect. The disturbance was ongoing at the time.

Deputies interviewed both individuals and based on those conversations as well as an abundance of physical evidence, determined that Demetres Miller was the aggressor.

Deputies noted extensive physical injury requiring medical attention for the victim as well as signs of violence inside the residence.

Demetres Miller was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery Involving Strangulation
*Domestic Abuse Battery

Demetres Miller remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
