DRUG / GUN LAW VIOLATIONS – TREVOR GLYNN LIRETTE
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Trevor Glynn Lirette, 25, of 105 Cypress Grove Street, Montegut, LA, on felony drug and gun law violations arising from a suspicious person complaint at a business establishment along LA 308.
Deputies responded to the call and noted that an individual was sleeping in the rear seat and was alone. Deputies made contact with the subject, now identified as Trevor Glynn Lirette and further noted Lirette to be incoherent and possibly under the influence of a foreign substance.
Deputies requested and were granted consent to search the vehicle. During the search process, quantities of Temazepam as well as a handgun were seized.
Trevor Glynn Lirette was found to be a convicted felon which prohibits him from possessing any firearms.
Trevor Glynn Lirette was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of a Schedule IV Drug to Wit: Temazepam
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Illegal Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Controlled Dangerous Substances
Trevor Glynn Lirette remains incarcerated with bond set at $170,000.
