DRUG LAW VIOLATION
DRUG LAW VIOLATION – CULLEN MICHAEL EDMONSTON
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cullen Michael Edmonston, 21, of 45376 Lake Martin Road, St. Amant, LA, resulting from a traffic stop on April 11, 2024.
On the aforementioned date, deputies conducted a traffic stop on LA 70 of a vehicle being driven by Cullen Michael Edmonston. Deputies interviewed Edmonston and at the conclusion of that process, deputies believed additional investigation was warranted.
Deputies requested and were granted consent to search the suspect vehicle. During that search, deputies seized a quantity of a substance believed to be synthetic marijuana. The substance was determined by the State Police Crime Lab to be synthetic marijuana.
Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Cullen Michael Edmonston. Deputies booked Edmonston into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession with Intent to Distribute Synthetic Marijuana
Cullen Michael Edmonston was released after posting a $12,500 commercial bond.
