DRUG LAW VIOLATION – DISTRIBUTION
WENDELL JOHNSON

BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Wendell Johnson, 60, of 130 Jones Street, Napoleonville, La., on felony drug distribution warrants stemming from an ongoing parish wide narcotics investigation.

During this process, agents were able to identify Wendell Johnson as trafficking illegal narcotics in the Assumption Parish area.

As a result of that investigation, agents established probable cause to seek arrest warrants for Wendell Johnson.

On Monday, Wendell Johnson was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Distribution of Marijuana

Wendell Johnson was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
