DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Jamor R. Jones, 35, of 120 Jones Street, Bertrandville, LA, on a number of drug law violations as the result of “Operation Fall Fest”.

Narcotics agents identified Jamor R. Jones as a formidable suspect in the illegal drug trade.

An Assumption Parish Grand Jury recently indicted Jones on one count of distribution of marijuana. Jones was arrested on Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on the indictment as well as related drug charges of:

*Possession of Marijuana (1st Offense)
*Possession of Meth-Amphetamine
*Possession of Lortab
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
*Distribution of Marijuana

Jamor R. Jones was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
