DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – DISTRIBUTION
RUBIN STEVEN ANDREWS, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rubin Steven Andrews, Jr., 45, of 119 North Bertrand Street, Bertrandville, LA, on felony drug distribution charges dating back to September of 2019 during “Operation Fall Fest”.
Prior to September of 2019, undercover agents in Assumption Parish were engaged in a continuing investigative operation and were able to identify Rubin Steven Andrews, Jr. as trafficking in illegal narcotics.
Agents obtained sufficient probable cause to apply for arrest warrants on Andrews and those warrants were approved on September 9, 2019.
Rubin Steven Andrews, Jr. fled the area, therefore those warrants were entered in the national data base.
On November 5, 2021, Rubin Steven Andrews, Jr. was arrested by the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office as a fugitive from Assumption Parish.
Rubin Steven Andrews, Jr. was transported to Assumption Parish late Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Distribution of Marijuana
*Distribution of Methamphetamine
Rubin Steven Andrews, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
