DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS – TONYA JEAN CONNER

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tonya Jean Conner, 40, of 137 Derrick Street, Pierre Part, LA, on felony drug charges arising from an investigation conducted on April 4, 2022.

On the aforementioned date, narcotics agents investigating Tonya Jean Conner executed a search warrant at a residence in Pierre Part where Tonya Jean Conner was a resident. As a result of that search, a quantity of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia was seized. At the time the warrant was executed, Tonya Jean Conner was not present.

Warrants were issued for the arrest of Tonya Jean Conner.

Tonya Jean Conner was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on November 25, 2022. Conner was released to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on Thursday and booked into the detention center on charges of:

*Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine
*Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Tonya Jean Conner remains incarcerated awaiting a bond hearing.
