BONNIE A. CAVALIER

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Bonnie A. Cavalier, 58, of 402A, Belle River Road, Pierre Part, LA, in connection with a financial crime against an elderly Pierre Part resident.

On September 3, 2019, deputies responded to a complaint in which it was alleged that Bonnie A. Cavalier had received in excess of $2000 in cash while working as a hired housekeeper for an elderly resident.

The case was referred to detectives who initiated an investigation. It was determined that Bonnie Cavalier had discussed her personal issues with the victim and received the money knowing that the complainant suffered from a cognitive medical condition. Immediately after receiving the money, the accused left her job.

After a thorough investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants against Cavalier.

Bonnie A. Cavalier was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Bonnie A. Cavalier was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
