PAINCOURTVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Anthony Corey Jones, 41, of 1007 Nolan Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on a charge of Theft.

Anthony Corey Jones was previously arrested on a theft charge. Upon release, he was ordered to appear in court on January 9, 2023 and failed to do so. As a result of his failure to appear, a warrant was issued for his arrest on January 18, 2023.

Anthony Corey Jones was arrested after deputies responded to a complaint of a suspicious person at a local business Friday morning.

Anthony Corey Jones was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Anthony Corey Jones remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
