FAILURE TO APPEAR – DRUG LAW VIOLATION, PROBATION / PAROLE VIOLATION – EVAN ROBERT LYNCH
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Evan Robert Lynch, 23, of 30618 Corbin Avenue, Walker, LA, on a failure to appear warrant as well as a warrant from the Department of Corrections for a probation / parole violation.
Evan Robert Lynch was convicted of Possession of Methamphetamine in Assumption Parish on December 18, 2023, and was placed on supervised probation for a period of 18 months. As a requirement of probation, Lynch was ordered to comply with specially imposed conditions.
Evan Robert Lynch was ordered to appear in court in Assumption Parish on April 15, 2024, and failed to do so resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on April 16, 2024.
The above actions constituted a violation of the conditions of probation resulting on the Department of Corrections securing an arrest warrant for a probation violation on June 19, 2024.
Evan Robert Lynch was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on February 27, 2025. Lynch was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on charges of:
-Possession of Methamphetamine. Bond was set at $1,251.50
*Probation / Parole Violations
Lynch was ordered held without bond on the probation violation.
