FAILURE TO APPEAR – DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Quincy James Johnson, 30, of 200 Halsey Street, Morgan City, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court on drug related charges.
Quincy James Johnson was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on drug charges and as a result of that arrest was ordered to appear in court on May 6, 2024. Quincy James Johnson failed to appear as ordered resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.
Quincy James Johnson was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on May 21, 2024. Johnson was transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 22, 2024 and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court on May 6, 2024, on Counts of:
-Unlawful Possession of a Schedule I Drug without a Prescription
-Possession of Marijuana
Quincy James Johnson remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
