FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY BURGLARY, PROBATION / PAROLE VIOLATION – KEVIN RENARD LIGHTELL

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kevin Renard Lightell, 29, of 135 Andras Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on a count of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling as well as a warrant for a probation violation.

Kevin Renard Lightell was convicted of the crime of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling in Assumption Parish on September 23, 2025. As a result of that conviction, Kevin Renard Lightell was sentenced to three (3) years of supervised probation and ordered to comply with specific conditions. Kevin Renard Lightell violated those conditions resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on November 18, 2025.

Kevin Renard Lightell was arrested in Bayou L’Ourse on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on November 20, 2025, on a charge of Simple Burglary of an Inhabited Dwelling
*Probation / Parole Violation

Kevin Renard Lightell remains incarcerated with bond set at $1,631.50, cash only, on the Failure to Appear warrant and he was ordered held without bond on the Probation Violation.
