FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY CHARGES
TRAVIS KENTRELL WILLIAMS
LABADIEVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Travis Kentrell Williams, 24, of 2476 Highway 308, Thibodaux, LA, on a warrant for Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on numerous felony charges.
Travis Kentrell Williams was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on charges including Simple Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Schedule I drugs. As a result of that arrest, Travis Kentrell Williams was ordered to appear in court on October 26, 2022 and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Travis Kentrell Williams on October 27, 2022.
On Thursday afternoon, and I.C.E. assigned deputy observed Travis Kentrell Williams walking in the area of Violet Street and LA 308. Williams engaged in a foot pursuit through several cane fields and wooded areas and was subsequently captured and arrested.
Travis Kentrell Williams was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of Simple Robbery and Criminal Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I Drug
*Resisting an Officer (6 Counts)
Travis Kentrell Williams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing on the Resisting Arrest counts. Bond on the Failure to Appear was set at $1551.50.
