FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY CRIMINAL DAMAGE

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Chaninthorn Jenice Cuney, 39, of 700 Henning Drive, Sulpher, LA, on charges of Failure to Appear on felony criminal damages to property charges.
On September 24, 2021, deputies responded to a complaint of an automobile having been intentionally spray painted. As a result, Chaninthorn Jenice Cuney was arrested and charged with Felony Criminal Damage to Property and later posted bond.
Chaninthorn Jenice Cuney was ordered to appear in court on February 17, 2022. A warrant for her arrest was issued on February 23, 2022.
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Cuney on May 29, 2022. Cuney was transferred and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on Monday. She remains in custody and will be held over for court.
