FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY DRUG CHARGES

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Matherne J. Johnson, Jr., 66, of 1351 McGinnis Street, Donaldsonville, LA, on a Failure to Appear warrant related to felony drug charges.

Matherne J. Johnson, Jr, was previously arrested on felony drug and traffic charges and as a result of that arrest was ordered to appear in court on April 8, 2024. Johnson, failed to appear as ordered and a warrant was issued for the arrest of Matherne J. Johnson, Jr. on April 9, 2024.

Matherne J. Johnson, Jr. was arrested on Friday morning and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Warrant – Failure to Appear in Court on April 8, 2024 on Counts of:
-Possession of Crack Cocaine
-Possession of Marijuana
-Flight from an Officer
-Driver Under a Suspended License
-Tail Lamps Required

Matherne J. Johnson, Jr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
