FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY DRUG CHARGES – DEROME JUPITER

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Derome Jupiter, 378, of 504 Owens Street, Napoleonville, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on felony drug charges.

Derome Jupiter was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on charges of Possession of Xanax. As a result of that arrest, Derome Jupiter was ordered to appear in court on August 21, 2023, and failed to do so. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest on August 23, 2023.

Derome Jupiter was arrested by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office on January 12, 2025. Jupiter was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on January 13, 2025.

Derome Jupiter was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on January 13, 2025, on a warrant for:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on August 21, 2023, on a charge of:
-Possession of Xanax

Derome Jupiter posted a $200 cash bond and served with a new court date.
