FAILURE TO APPEAR / FELONY DRUG LAW VIOLATIONS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marland Gerard Desira, 43, of 160B Grisaffe Lane Belle Rose, LA, on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on felony drug charges.

Marland Gerard Desira was previously arrested on drug charges and posted bond.

Marland Gerard Desira was noticed to appear in court on May 26, 2022. Desira failed to appear thus resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

Marland Gerard Desira was arrested on Wednesday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a warrant charging him with:

*Failure to Appear – (Assumption Parish) On a Charge of Produce, Manufacture, Distribute, Dispense, Possess a Schedule II Controlled Dangerous Substance to Wit: Methamphetamine

Marland Gerard Desira remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
