FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY FINANCIAL CRIMES –  MARQUIS L. WATKINS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marquis L. Watkins, 31, of 6101 Curran Boulevard, New Orleans, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on multiple felony financial crimes.

Marquis L. Watkins was previously arrested in Assumption Parish and as a result of that arrest was ordered to appear in court on August 11, 2025. Marquis L. Watkins failed to appear as ordered resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest on August 13, 2025.

Marquis L. Watkins was arrested in Orleans Parish. Watkins was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on March 5, 2026. Marquis L. Watkins was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a warrant for:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on August 11, 2025, on Counts of:
-Identity Theft
-Forgery
-Bank Fraud
-Computer Fraud

Marquis L. Watkins remains incarcerated with bond set at $50,000.
