FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY SEX CRIME – MULTIPLE MISDEMEANORS – CORY LAMAR BUTLER

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Cory Lamar Butler, 31, of 122 Tyler Lane, Belle Rose, LA, on multiple failure to appear warrants including a felony sex crime as well as misdemeanor charges.

Cory Lamar Butler was previously arrested on a charge of obscenity. As a result of that arrest, Butler was ordered to appear in court on September 16, 2021 and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Additionally, Cory Lamar Butler was previously arrested on charges of Flight from an Officer, Possession of Marijuana, Speeding and Disturbing the Peace. As a result of that arrest, Cory Lamar Butler was ordered to appear in court and failed to do so. As a result, a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Cory Lamar Butler was arrested on Thursday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on September 16, 2021 on a charge of
– Obscenity
*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of – Flight from an Officer,
Possession of Marijuana, Speeding and Disturbing the Peace.

Cory Lamar Butler remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings.
