FAILURE TO APPEAR FOR TRIAL BY JURY

PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Brandon Alan Gaspard, 45, 146 Ben Court, Pierre Part, LA, on a warrant charging him with Failure to Appear in Court on Tuesday for jury trial on felony drug charges.
Brandon Alan Gaspard was previously arrested on charges of distribution of methamphetamine and as a result, Gaspard was ordered to stand trial.
Jury selection was scheduled for Tuesday morning, but Gaspard failed to appear.
On Tuesday, Brandon Alan Gaspard was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Appear in Court on June 4, 2024, for Trial on Charges of Distribution of
Methamphetamine
Brandon Alan Gaspard remains incarcerated and ordered held without bond.
