FAILURE TO APPEAR – MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Florian Metrejean, 53, of 606 Freret Street, Morgan City, LA, on warrants charging him with Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish to face multiple felony charges.

Florian Metrejean was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on drug related charges as well as aggravated flight charges. As a result of these arrests, Florian Metrejean was ordered to appear in court on May 28, 2024 and failed to do so. As a result, warrants were issued for the arrest of Florian Metrejean on May 30, 2024.

Florian Metrejean was arrested by the Morgan City Police Department on June 29, 2024. Metrejean was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on July 03, 2024.

Florian Metrejean was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on May 28, 2024 on Counts of:
-Distribution of a Schedule III Controlled Dangerous Substance
-Aggravated Flight from an Officer
-Flight from an Officer

Florian Metrejean was ordered held without bond.
