FAILURE TO APPEAR – TAKING CONTRABAND TO / FROM A PENAL INSTITUTION – DAVE ALEXANDER, SR.

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Dave Alexander, Sr., 61, of 146 Highway 998 Belle Rose, LA, after a uniformed patrol deputy conducted a pedestrian stop in the 7000 block of LA 1 near Belle Rose on Friday afternoon.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed an individual he recognized as Dave Alexander, Sr. and was aware that a warrant was active for the arrest of Dave Alexander, Sr. for Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish.

Dave Alexander, Sr. was previously arrested in Assumption Parish on charges of Taking Contraband to/from a Penal Institution. As a result of that arrest, Dave Alexander, Sr. was ordered to appear in court in Assumption Parish on April 14, 2025, and failed to do so. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Dave Alexander, Sr. on April 15, 2025.

Dave Alexander, Sr., was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on April 14, 2025, for Motions Related to a Count of:
-Taking Contraband to/from a Penal Institution

Dave Alexander, Sr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
