FAILURE TO APPEAR – FELONY – GABRIEL P. TALBOT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Gabriel P. Talbot, 49, of 136 Bertie Street, Napoleonville, LA, on a warrant for Failure to Appear in court in Assumption Parish on charges of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon relative to a prior arrest.

Gabriel P. Talbot was arrested on June 20, 2020 in possession of a firearm. Gabriel P. Talbot is a prior convicted felon.

Subsequent to his arrest, Gabriel P. Talbot was ordered to appear in court on June 20, 2022 and failed to do so.

A warrant was issued for Talbot’s arrest on June 22, 2022.

A uniformed patrol deputy observed Talbot driving a vehicle west of Napoleonville on Tuesday and arrested him.

Talbot was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear – Assumption Parish for Possession of a Firearm by a Person Convicted of Certain Felonies

Gabriel P. Talbot was released after posting bond.
