FAILURE TO REGISTER AND NOTIFY AS A SEX OFFENDER, MARLON D. SIMON
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marlon D. Simon, 39, of 179 Highway 998, Belle Rose, LA, on felony charges relating to his failure to register as a sex offender.
As part of the sex offender registration process, detectives conducted a compliance check to determine if Marlon D. Simon was residing at the address he registered. Detectives determined that Marlon D. Simon was not residing at his registered address, therefore, was in violation.
Marlin D. Simon was a convicted sex offender and was previously charged with violating the registration process.
A warrant was issued for the arrest of Simon.
Marlon D. Simon was arrested in East Baton Rouge Parish. On Thursday, Marlon D. Simon was transported to Assumption Parish and booked into the detention center on charges of:

Marlon D. Simon remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
