FAILURE TO REGISTER AND NOTIFY AS A SEX OFFENDER OR CHILD PREDATOR – LAWRENCE D. VANDERGRIFFT

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lawrence D. Vandergrifft, 41, of 3929 Highway 70 South, Pierre Part, LA, on charges related to sex offender registration requirements.

Lawrence D. Vandergrifft is a convicted sex offender and as such is required to maintain sex offender registration requirements.

Detectives determined that Lawrence D. Vandergrifft failed to notify and register as a convicted sex offender for a period between October 7, 2023, through October 18,2023.

Lawrence D. Vandergrifft was arrested in Brazoria County Texas on April 25, 2024. Lawrence D. Vandergrifft was transferred to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 26, 2024.

Lawrence D. Vandergrifft was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failure to Register and Notify as a Convicted Sex Offender / Child Predator

Lawrence D. Vandergrifft remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
