FAILURE TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER – TYRONE S. CHEVERS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Tyrone S. Chevers, 54, of 420 Telegraph Street, Napoleonville, LA, on charges that he failed to register as a sex offender / child predator.

Tyrone S. Chevers was previously convicted of felony sex crimes and as a result is required to register accordingly.

Detectives initiated an investigation and when that process was completed, a warrant was issued for Chevers’ arrest.

Tyrone S. Chevers was arrested on Monday and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Register and Notify as a Sex Offender

Tyrone S. Chevers remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
