FALSE COMMUNICATION WITH INTENT TO CAUSE AN EMERGENCY RESPONSE – J.C. THOMPSON, JR.
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of J.C. Thompson, Jr., 47, of 508 North College Street, Napoleonville, LA, on charges related to an incident which occurred on December 25, 2025, as well as a Probation / Parole detainer.
On the aforementioned date, deputies were dispatched to an area near Labadieville in reference to a 911 call received in which J.C. Thompson, Jr. allegedly reported that he had been pushed out of a car and run over. The 911 call created an emergency response during extremely foggy conditions. Deputies were unable to locate the incident or any evidence thereof. At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies secured an arrest warrant for J.C. Thompson, Jr.
J.C. Thompson, Jr. turned himself in on January 16, 2026, and was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*False Communication with the Intent to Create an Emergency Response
*Detainer – Probation and Parole
J.C. Thompson, Jr. was ordered held without bond on the Probation / Parole violation.
