FALSE REPRESENTATION TO DEPARTMENT OF MOTOR VEHICLES

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Rony Cuycuh Ajton, 26, of 419 East Roosevelt Street, Gonzales, LA, on felony charges relating to false representation to DMV officials.
On Friday afternoon, deputies were dispatched to the Office of Motor Vehicles in connection with a person suspected to be an illegal immigrant attempting to conduct transactions.
Upon arrival, deputies spoke to the complainant who advised that the suspect had provided false information in an attempt to secure and purchase DMV related documents, including a driver’s license.
Upon completion of the investigation, deputies arrested Rony Cuycuh Ajton and booked him into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Failing or Maintaining False Public Records
*Giving False Information Regarding Lawful Presence in the United States
Ajton posted bond and has been transferred to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
