FELONY CHARGE – ARREST WARRANT

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Felecia A. Tharp, 46, of 102 Ann Street, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, on a felony arrest warrant issued on February 25, 2022, for Assumption Parish.

On February 28, 2022, a uniformed patrol officer was dispatched to a residential address in Bayou L’Ourse concerning an incident that occurred on Friday, February 25, 2022. Upon arriving at the residence, the officer spoke with the victim who stated that a disagreement had occurred between him and a family member which resulted in a physical altercation. The officer noted markings and injuries on the elderly victim and proceeded to file for an arrest warrant on the suspect, Felecia A. Tharp.

On Thursday, March 10, 2022, Felecia A. Tharp was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Detention Center on charges of:

*Aggravated Battery (Felony)
*Simple Battery of the Infirmed

Felecia A. Tharp remains incarcerated awaiting a bond hearing.
