FELONY FAILURE TO APPEAR WARRANTS

PAINCOURTVILLE– Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Lance Joseph Cavalier, Jr., 23, of 37313 New River, Geismar, LA, on felony failure to appear warrants in the jurisdictions of the Kenner Police Department and the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
On Thursday morning, deputies were dispatched to a traffic accident at LA 1 and LA 70 near Paincourtville.
Upon arrival, the deputy made contact with all occupants, one of which was Lance Joseph Cavalier, Jr. Deputies determined that Cavalier was wanted on felony charges in the aforementioned jurisdictions.
Lance Joseph Cavalier, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center as follows:
*Failure to Appear – East Baton Rouge Parish / Possession / Manufacture / Distribution of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance
*Failure to Appear – Kenner Police Department /Theft (Felony) / Theft (Misdemeanor) /
Unauthorized Use of a Moveable – Felony
Lance Joseph Cavalier, Jr. is being held without bond pending transfer to the appropriate jurisdiction.
