FELONY FINANCIAL CRIMES
DAVID GLENN DIXON, II, AUDREY LEAH BERBER
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrests of David Glenn Dixon, II, 44, of 6055 North Foster Drive, Baton Rouge, LA and Audrey Leah Berber, 37, of 6055 North Foster Drive, Baton Rouge, LA, on multiple felony financial crimes related to a criminal investigation which originated on August 25, 2025.
On the aforementioned date, detectives initiated an investigation which began as an identity theft and progressed to crimes including forgery, bank fraud, and computer fraud. The complainant discovered an unauthorized charge to his credit report through a banking institution which was used to procure a loan application with the intent to secure an automobile loan. The loan was eventually approved in the amount in excess of $19,000.
Investigating detectives contacted fraud investigators for the financial institution and were able to secure documents related to the case.
Detectives furthered their investigation and secured a flurry of information from financial institutions and other companies linked to the scheme. Additionally, detectives were able to secure telephone records eventually connecting those records which assisted in identifying David Glenn Dixon, II and Audrey Leah Berber as suspects.
On Thursday, February 19, 2026, Assumption Parish detectives accompanied Baton Rouge City Police Officers and executed a search warrant at 6055 North Foster Drive in Baton Rouge. Following the execution of that search warrant, David Glenn Dixon, II and Audrey Leah Berber were both arrested and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison as fugitives from Assumption Parish.
Audrey Leah Berber was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on February 21, 2026 and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:*Identity Theft
*Bank Fraud
*Forgery
*Computer Fraud
Audrey Leah Berber remains incarcerated with bond set at $60,000
David Glenn Dixon, II was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on February 25, 2026 and was booked on charges of:
*Identify Theft
*Bank Fraud
*Forgery
*Computer Fraud
David Glenn Dixon, II remains incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center pending a bond hearing.
