FELONY FINANCIAL CRIMES – KENNETH JOHN SCOTT, III
NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kenneth John Scott, III, on felony charges arising from financial related crimes.
On or about March 13,2026, detectives initiated an investigation after a Pierre Part business owner reported that a check cashed at the business on November 7, 2025, by an individual identified as Kenneth John Scott, III, had been returned as non-sufficient funds / fraud. The check was in the amount of $3,450. The check was determined to be drawn on a closed account of a company in Mississippi.
Detectives confirmed that the suspect whom cashed the check was indeed Kenneth John Scott, III.
At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives secured arrest warrants for Kenneth John Scott, III.
Kenneth John Scott, III was arrested by the Patterson Police Department on May 31,2026. Scott was released to the custody of the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office on June 1,2026.
Kenneth John Scott, III was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Access Device Fraud
*Monetary Instrument Abuse
*Felony Theft
Kenneth John Scott, III remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
