FELONY FINANCIAL CRIMES – DONOVAN PAUL MABILE
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Donovan Paul Mabile, 38, of 13369 Chase Street, Gonzales, LA, on numerous financial crimes arising from a recent incident.
On February 22, 2022, the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint in which an individual cashed a fraudulent check at a local business for an amount slightly under $2,000.
Detectives initiated an investigation and were able to identify Donovan Paul Mabile as the individual responsible for this crime.
At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for Donovan Paul Mabile.
On Tuesday, Donovan Paul Mabile was arrested by Gonzales City Police. He was transferred to the Assumption Parish Detention Center and booked on charges of:
*Felony Identity Theft
*Felony Theft
*Bank Fraud
*Forgery
*Felony Access Device Fraud
*Monetary Instrument Abuse
*Warrant – Failure to Appear – Unlawful to Possess Schedule I Drug Without a Prescription
Donovan Paul Mabile remains incarcerated in lieu of $70,000.
