FELONY GUN LAW VIOLATIONS – MARTY J. JAMISON, SR.
BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Marty J. Jamison, Sr., 64, of 139 Jones Street, Napoleonville, LA, on felony gun law violations arising from an incident at an area retail outlet north of Napoleonville late Saturday night.
Uniformed patrol deputies were dispatched to the location in reference to a disturbance. Deputies made contact with the complainants who advised that they were patrons at the business when an argument erupted between them and Marty J. Jamison, Sr.
At some point during that argument, the complainants allege that Marty J. Jamison, Sr., threatened them with a gun.
Deputies located Marty J. Jamison, Sr. and conducted an officer / violator interview. At the conclusion of that process, Marty J. Jamison, Sr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon
*Illegal Use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
Marty J. Jamison, Sr. remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
