WILLIAM MAKIA JACKSON, JR.
BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of William Makia Jackson, Jr., 20, of 122 Sycamore Street, Labadieville, LA, on felony sex crimes charges upon a minor.
On or about August 24, 2020, detectives commenced an investigation after receiving a complaint that a child, under lawful age, had engaged in sexual activity with Jackson at a location in Bayou L’Ourse, LA.
On September 3, 2020, detectives made contact with and engaged in dialogue with Jackson. During the interrogation process, Jackson admitted to certain illegal sexual activity with the minor.
Based on all available information and evidence, William Makia Jackson, Jr. was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:
*Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor
*Indecent Behavior with Juveniles
*Misdemeanor Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile
William Makia Jackson, Jr. was incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
