FELONY THEFT – STEVEN L. SIMONEAUX
PIERRE PART – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Steven L. Simoneaux, 66, of 231 Highway 1011. Labadieville, LA, on felony theft charges related to the theft of a water meter and theft of water at a residence in the 200 block of LA 1011.
On October 1, 2024, deputies were dispatched to the residence in question and made contact with the complainant. Deputies were advised that a water meter had been removed from the residence and replaced with a homemade pipe bypassing the meter thus resulting in undocumented water usage at the location.
Deputies made contact with the homeowner identified as Steven L. Simoneaux and engaged that subject in an interview.
At the conclusion of the investigation, deputies obtained an arrest warrant for Steven L. Simoneaux.
On Friday morning, Steven L. Simoneaux was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

Steven L. Simoneaux was released after posting a $3,000 bond.
