LEROY VINCENT WILLIAMS

NAPOLEONVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Leroy Vincent Williams, 33, of 812 St Vincent Street, Donaldsonville, LA, in reference to the theft of U.S. currency from a former domestic partner.

On December 9, 2019, deputies responded to a call at a residence off of LA 308. Deputies interviewed the complainant who indicated that she recently terminated a relationship with Leroy Vincent Williams. The suspect was at her home collecting his personal belongings when he removed an envelope from a purse. That envelope contained $4,000 in cash.

Deputies obtained an arrest warrant based on all of the facts presented.

On Thursday, Leroy Vincent Williams was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a charge of:

*Theft (Felony)

Williams remains incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
