NATHAN P. MONTET, HEATHER LYNN GUILLORY

BAYOU L’OURSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Nathan P. Montet, 46, of 150 Green Leaf Boulevard, Bayou L’Ourse, LA, and are attempting to arrest Heather Lynn Guillory, 42, also of 158 Greenleaf Boulevard in Bayou L’Ourse, LA, in connection with financial crimes.

On October 5, 2021, deputies responded to a call in Bayou L’Ourse at which time the complainant advised that Nathan Montet had issued two payments for personal business from an account that he was not authorized to access.

Over the period of October 05, 2021, through December 1, 2021, the same account was utilized 4 times amounting to a total of $1265.79.

As the investigation continued, Heather Lynn Guillory was identified as a participant in the scheme, and she was not authorized as an account user.

At the completion of the investigation, deputies obtained warrants for the arrests of Nathan P. Montet and Heather Lynn Guillory.

Nathan P. Montet was arrested on Wednesday evening in Bayou L’Ourse. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Bank Fraud – 3 Counts
*Access Device Fraud – 3 Counts
*Identity Theft – 3 Counts
*Illegal Transmission of Monetary Funds

Nathan P. Montet was incarcerated and released on a $39,000 bond.

Warrants for the arrest of Heather Lynn Guillory remain outstanding on charges of:

*Bank Fraud – 3 Counts
*Access Device Fraud – 3 Counts
*Identity Theft – 3 Counts
*Illegal Transmission of Monetary Funds
