JUVENILE VERIFIED COMPLAINTS
BERTRANDVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports verified complaints against three juveniles in connection with damages caused to a residence in the Bertrandville area by apparent gunfire.
On February 29, 2020, deputies responded to a complaint of damage to a residence near Bertrandville.
Detectives initiated an investigation and determined that the damages had been caused by gunshots. The residents of the home were not present at the time of the incident.
As a result of the investigation, deputies were able to identify and subsequently file verified complaints against three juveniles on counts of:
*Illegal use of Weapons or Dangerous Instrumentalities
*Simple Criminal Damage to Property
The juveniles were ages 13, 15 and 16. Two of the youths were from Napoleonville and the third from Donaldsonville.
All three were released to the custody of their parents or guardian.
