FUGITIVE ARREST – MYRON JEROME LEWIS
BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Myron Jerome Lewis, 25, of 212 Daggs Street, Paincourtville, LA, on multiple fugitive warrants from Ascension.
A uniformed patrol deputy observed a vehicle commit a traffic violation on LA 1 south of Belle Rose on Saturday morning and initiated a stop of the vehicle.
The deputy made contact with the driver, now identified as Myron Jerome Lewis and conducted an officer / violator interview. The deputy requested a warrants check on Lewis through the communications division and determined that he was wanted on multiple fugitive warrants. Myron Jerome Lewis was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention center on charges of:
*Fugitive Warrants (Ascension Parish)
– Failure to Appear
-Domestic Abuse Battery
-Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Dangerous Substance
-No Driver’s License
-Improper Display of License Plate
-Improper Turning
-Careless Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Myron Jerome Lewis was incarcerated in the Assumption Parish Detention Center and then transferred to Ascension Parish.
