FUGITIVE ARREST – DOMESTIC ABUSE – AGGRAVATED ASSAULT
DARRIN JOSEPH LEBLANC

PLATTENVILLE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Darrin Joseph LeBlanc, 36, of 44148 Conway Street, Sorrento, LA, on felony domestic abuse / aggravated assault charges originating in Ascension Parish.

On Wednesday, deputies received information indicating Darrin Joseph LeBlanc to have outstanding warrants for his arrest in Ascension Parish. The information received also indicated that LeBlanc was at a Plattenville address.

Deputies conducted a perimeter search of the dwelling then entered the attic.

Darrin Joseph LeBlanc was located in the attic of the home under a large pile of clothing.

Darrin Joseph LeBlanc was arrested and booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on a fugitive warrant from Ascension Parish on a charge of:

*Domestic Abuse Battery / Aggravated Assault (Felony)

Darrin Joseph LeBlanc was later transferred to the custody of Ascension Parish.
