FUGITIVE, FAILURE TO APPEAR – KASEY A. CARTER

BELLE ROSE – Assumption Parish Sheriff Leland Falcon reports the arrest of Kasey A. Carter, 34, of 139 Virginia Street, Belle Rose, LA, on a fugitive warrant from East Baton Rouge Parish and Failure to Appear charges in Assumption Parish.

On Wednesday afternoon, deputies received information that Kasey A. Carter was at an address in the 100 block of Virginia Street. Deputies were aware of multiple outstanding warrants for the arrest of Carter.

Deputies went to the home and subsequently arrested Kasey A. Carter. He was booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center on charges of:

*Failure to Appear in Court in Assumption Parish on Charges of Simple Criminal Damage to Property in excess of $1,000
*Fugitive Warrant – East Baton Rouge Parish for Aggravated Assault with a Firearm

Kasey A. Carter remains incarcerated pending bond proceedings in Assumption Parish.

Upon satisfying local charges, Kasey A. Carter will be turned over to the custody of East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office.
